agh picturemail never sends without restarting the phone???

I have this huge issue and I dont know if im the only one who buys any smart phone and uses the most basic of features a lot such as picturemail like tons of times a day...but on the EPIC it seems like picturemail never goes the first time, it always gives that hourglass n forever later the hourglass is still there, I always have to do a battery pull and than it sends fine but if after like 4 more picturemails it does the same thing over again...can anyone else at all relate? know what causes this?
