Air command no longer works when I take the s pen out. If I go into settings, air command is greyed out and won't let me turn it on. Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Hi I had the same problem with my note 4 .

Solution :

1.Enable Talk back for a few minutes .

2. Disable Talk back.

3. Shutdown

4. Switch on and try to enable air command.

U're a genius.
Ok I had to do that twice but works perfectly.
Tks

Found a solution!

- remove s pen

go to
Accessibility
Dexterity and Interaction
Universal Switch (turn it on then select add switch)
Select Accessories then hover the s pen and click the button.

Works like a charm for me.

try this
go to settings/accessibility /vision /voice assistant /on
used it for few minutes in that setting
than restarted the phone
than put voice assistant to off
voila air command started working

IT ******* WORKS! My Note4 had the same problem, although it wasn't voice assistant but talkback, it works! Thanks, man!

I hope it's working now... in case it hasn't, i had the same problem... "greyed out Air Command" i tried switching mode from Standard to Easy Mode... pulled my S Pen... air command worked, :D ... switched it back to Standard... Viola... although I'll try restarting my phone just to be sure it stays that way...

Go to settings/ accessibility/dexterity and interactions/air wake and turn 'on'. Go back to S pen settings and greyed out options might now be alive again. Set up as you wish and then go back and turn off air wake

for my Galaxy Note 4, it works like magic. I lost my air command menu after upgrading marshmallow. I followed below steps:

1. Take out s pen
2. Go to accessibility
3. follow vision
4. Switch Access - On then Off
4. Hover zoom - On then Off
5. Click s pen button keeping it over the screen - - I got my air command menu back.

please let me know if it works for you or not.

Thanks it worked for my Note 4... What a relief :)
