Using a T-Mobile S4 with the latest update. It's on - checked and double-checked. But Air Gestures don't work at all. Not that it's a real big deal, but I paid for it, so would be nice if everything worked, ya know?

Actually, it doesn't look like any of those sensor things are working. Faulty phone/sensor or is there something I'm missing? Tried Smart Pause, Air Gestures, Air View, etc. Nothing.

I have yet to get the air gesture to answer the phone. The others have worked for me. Do you have a screen protector or case?

mine don't work either

Have EVERYTHING turned on... even the settings within the settings if you long press air gestures. Must be broken sensors or something because none of my gestures work.

Kind of annoying

My s4 will select when I hold my finger above an item, and I don't have this feature selected, or any other of these features. Seems the opposite problem.

Nope, no case or anything at the moment.

That's frustrating. I just went to the air gesture test page and I had to wave a dozen times to get it to register. Oh well. I'll just dirty my screen. :banghead:

Ok, I think I figured it out. Good news, bad news. Good news: I got most of it to work. Bad news: It only works on select apps - most likely just Samsung apps. On the Quick Glance, the phone must be off and horizontal on a table or something. On Air Gestures, it only works on select apps. I don't know what all exactly - maybe we could compile a list here, which would be useful because I haven't found one anywhere else online. I know it works on the stock browser, not Chrome or any others. I suspect this is the same issue with the other Air and Smart features. They're smart, just not that smart. Selective smart. Anyway, everything I've tried has worked so far. Some gestures/motions require the phone to be completely flat on a surface, and others only work in certain apps. So - they work, and they don't work. I guess other apps have to work this integration in with future updates - if they want to, that is. I'm not holding my breath.

I solved it! I'm a Google Chrome Fan so i didnt use my default browser the one it comes with. If you notice the air gesture still works for going through photos and for quick glance. The problem is it can only scroll through pages with its default browser (doesn't work for Google Chrome, Mozilla, Opera etc). Only its default which I believe is the SAMSUNG internet browser that it comes with installed.

I agree with the above post, it only works with certain Samsung apps. I could not get it to work with Google Chrome or even to make it swipe between screens. But it works fine with the stock internet browser supplied with the phone. It is a shame it won't work with everything on the phone. But at least it's a fun gimmick.

how i will click the air view ? because on/off i only depressible
please help me i'd like to use the air view , motion and gesturesand the smart pause .. how i will do that ?

The Phone App is from Samsung, right? I have all the air gestures set to ON, but cannot answer a call by waving hand in zig zag left to right.
If the App supports Air Gesture it is supposed to bring a hand icon at the top, but when I start the Phone App, there is no such icon.
The only one I've been able to use is the "quick view" when the phone is locked.
