Air Pods gen 1, 2 or Pro for using with Note 10+?

I wouldn't buy AirPods if you don't have an iPhone. I have them, 1st, 2nd, and Pro, as well as 65Ts. 1st and second sound isn't better than 65Ts but the Pros are as good or better. When you factor in noise cancellation, and augmentation they become compelling. Those last bits probably don't happen if you don't have an iPhone. You change with the app or via Siri shortcuts. You may be able to change the stem gestures to do it, but that still requires an iPhone. Pause and play when removing one wouldn't work. Notification pane battery display wouldn't work. Some of the appeal is how they work with iPhones, iPads, Macs. If you lose all that, they aren't worth the money. You can get stuff that sounds as good for way less.

That kinda sums it up hahaha. And detailed.

I also have the airpods pro. I found a app called assistant trigger in the play store. It let's the airpods have almost full functionality. Give it a look if your interested.

Just info I am in no way affiliated with that app. I just downloaded it after seeing it mention on a youtube clip lol.

But it doesnt allow single tap to pause/play. Triple tap to go to previous song. Nor double tap to fast forward. Or lets say hold right to increase and hold left to decrease volume...

Airpods Pro costs USD$344 in Indonesia... I could get 3 sets of Galaxy Buds or lets say a Sony WF-1000XM3 or Sony WH-1000XM3...

Not sure about the Air Pods, but I have the Beats Studio 3 Wireless over the ear headphones, geared for Apple, but sound amazinng with the NOte 10+ and have outstanding clear calling capabilities.

Thanks for this tip. I ordered a pair of these for 27 USD and I can't say I'm disappointed. The only thing I was surprised by was that I can't keep both buds in my ears and try and talk (to real people). I thought technology would have found a way to let sound in (when paused) but it's not the case, at least with these.

But apart from this one gripe, I'm quite happy with the sound quality, zero lag, fit and mono mode. I just hope they last 🤞

What can I say, it's kinda true. Lol

If I had to pick, the Pro.

I spent Thousands on my car audio/home theater back in the day. I get how important Audio quality is but when it comes to headphones I can't drop more than $100.

Skip the 1st and 2nd gen Airpods. Sound quality is very mediocre. Airpods Pro are fine if you really want them but all the features won't work on Android. Something like the Jabra Elite 75t are cheaper, more compact, sound better and all the features will work.

Drop a little extra and get the Jabra 75t, they are fabulous, look around for black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, I think they are even offering 10% on all products on their own website

I would def Go with Galaxy Buds to go with Note 10 plus...I have 2nd gen airpods also..but when iam on my bike or gym
.I perfer galaxy buds..quality sound...amazing noise cancellation fits perfect and u rarely realise it's there..
airpods are good for home and office where u wanna hear outside noise

I’ve got the gen 2 AirPods and they work fantastically with my Note 10+. Down side is they don’t just pair up instantly like they do on the iPhone but they work great and are stable.

I have airpods pro with my Note 10+ because I also have an iPhone pro Max. They are leaps and bounds better then previous airpods but the noise cancelling doesn't work as well as I thought it would. It does allow you to not have to turn the volume up as much to drown out sounds, but it doesn't do well cancelling out noises as well at the gym. It does best cancelling out solid sustained noises like fans, heaters, dishwashers, car climate control drone, and rain. There is more bass then on previous models also. All in all I'm happy with my purchase. I got Apple Care also, which is peace of mind because my previous set got dropped, washed, and all in all abused (and apple swapped them our about 5-6 times). There is something to say about quality customer service which to me is worth the premium price you pay. If you get a set of sony headphones and you drop and break it, Sony will laugh at you, even if you get it at Best buy they may or may not take care of it, etc

1 is Apple. 1 is Samsung... Its like a Honda using a Mitsubishi part... Its not even 3rd party for example HKS or Pivot...

Long story short. If brand A sells a phone, use brand A's accessories or a 3rd party brand.

But thats my personal preference. Its not like the Apple Airpods are optimized to work with Android phones.

True but not all of us can fit the pointy buds into our ears. For me the flat surface of the airpods are more comfortable and they stay in place. Would love to use galaxy buds, but any earpiece with that pointy end hurts my ears and fall off often.
