air view

I was wondering if there is a way to completely disable air view? I have it turned to off in the setting but my screen is still registering a touch when my finger hovers over it... A bit of a pain when scrolling Instagram and stuff.

Welcome to Android Central! So you went to Settings>Motion>Air View, and turned off the switch at the top? Does rebooting help?

Yes it is totally turned off but if I hover over the keys it registers as if I had touched it. Rebooting didn't help either.
