AIRAVE

...Can this carrier do ANYTHING right? I mean why even bother trying to get an Airwave when Sprint can't get a competent person the phone and me with my temper at them for the piss poor service I've been getting.

To some people who have already made up their mind they won't be able to. They could give them 4g and 100 towers in their area and they'd still complain. To others who are realists they can do things right and make a situation right.

With Sprint, complaining is always fueled by a motive, usually something bs-related. Like the Airwave thing, would help me out right now, but I am not going to go through another hell and highwater with Sprint with my account.

I called and got an airave that I received a few days ago. My computer room is in a corner room so the airave is in that room. My bedroom is on the opposite side on the 2nd floor and I dont see any improvement in the signals. I want to move the airave towards the middle but not sure if on the first floor or second floor? And any ideas on how I could move the airave without running the networking cable all over the house? Thanks for the input

Assuming your Router has wifi built in buy a Wireless access point connect it to your router and connect the Airrave to the access point wherever you want as long as the access point gets a good enough signal to the router you should be fine.

I have had a free Airave from Sprint for over two years. It saved my account for them.
I went from 0-1 bars on my four phones to 3-max bars full time.

No real negatives. Does require that the airave be located with a cable that gets GPS signal from a window. cable comes with it. not a real hassle but it would nice to not have that cable at all. It hooks into my router by ethernet cable and I do not use wireless for this. no degredation of regular internet service noticeable.

It actually works in a 1/4 mile radius of my house outside as well. But I am very selfish and have it set to not allow outsiders to use it! built in settings............
