Airplane Widgets not working

I didn't realize how many folks leave their phones on all night. Crazy. Not me. Airplane at bed, off when I'm up...when it's set to silent anyway, why drain the battery all night for nothing?

My phone is on silent and plugged in all night. Silence is programmed by Llama. Why not charge the battery while you sleep?

I have to use airplane mode at work. Inside there is not enough signal, and that drains the battery.
Airplane mode is quicker than powering off and restarting every couple of hours, or if the device is having trouble acquiring a signal.
But I only just upgraded from GB2.3.3 to KK4.4

I can't get the two finger swipe to work more than about 20% of the time...

It took me a few minutes to master this on my HTC One. You have to start with your fingers off the screen at the top, and then swipe down. If you start with them on the screen, you open the notifications panel.

I don't have a landline phone anymore. If I put the maxx in airplane mode, I'd miss calls or have trouble making one in an emergency. I put my phone on my Tilt charger on the nightstand every night.
