I guess a major reason why I'm using a task killer is I like to see how much memory is available on my phone, and I also like when after the autokill the amount of aval. memory shoots way up...The app I'm using is SystemPanel App / Task Manager - Android app on AppBrain and it also shows graphs/history of battery use/charge, etc... I guess I won't use the app to autokill anymore

The only thing about that is, just because the available memory goes up, doesn't mean your phone will run any faster. Android doesn't work like that. That same memory would have been relocated from another app if it was really necessary to use. But it is definitely nice to have a task MANAGER (not killer) to see whats running and taking cpu cycles. I use OSmonitor myself, I like how it can sort items via processing load.
