Alarm clock sounds during call

Hey all.
I have an alarm that goes off every afternoon.
If i am on a call it makes a high pitched screeching when it goes off.
when not on a call, it is the normal tone i have set for it.
Its giving me a headache everytime it does the sound while on a call.

Any suggestions? Thanks <3

On my hero, in the settings there's the options to have notifications & alarms make noise, vibrate or do nothing while on a call.

i cant seem to find the settings for that. i found it once but cant find it again

nevermind.. it was a setting in handcent.
