Alarm Issue

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and/or knows how to fix it. I have alarms set for 6.30am, 7.30am, 1.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm & 11.30pm 7 days a week. I have noticed that sometimes the alarm sound will play for the briefest of seconds, other times it will play for a few seconds and other times it does (as I assume it is supposed to) and plays until I swipe to stop it. I thought maybe the magnetic closure on the flipcase I have the phone in was causing it but having left the case open so the magnet is not near the screen it still behaves utterly randomly. It is driving me mad.

have tried stopping the service and rebooting the phone?

Yep have tried that, still does it at least twice a day. But thank you

You are not alone in this if it makes you feel better. I've had this happen a few times now when i set an alarm for the morning only to hear the first beep then nothing. When i try to catch it out again by setting it for in a minute time and waiting it always works perfect though

Today a similar thing happened when a family member phoned me; my phone was right in front of me so i caught it doing it: the first few seconds of the ringtone played, then the phone screen went black and the ringtone stopped...after picking the phone up and clicking the side screen button the person was still "ringing" on the screen...then i accepted the call. Very strange, and annoying.

Something isn't right somewhere.
