Alarms/Notifications via Bluetooth?

I'm having a strange issue with notifications via Bluetooth. When connected to Bluetooth, I receive notifications, alarms, etc on both the external speakers on the One AND my Bluetooth headset. Every previous phone I've had routes all of these to headset. This is annoying because I don't want my notifications broadcast out loud when I'm using my headset. Has anyone else experienced this, and/or figured out how to stop it from happening? This is with the Developer edition of the One.

I have the opposite problem on the ATT version, cant here the notifications at all via bluetooth.
