all files created 7/23/2003 ???

I've got a weird problem. Every file that the phone saves to the sd card is created with a time stamp of 7/23/2003. The date/time of the phone is set correctly (auto updating via AT&T server). And the picture I take are even named with the correct date. But, every picture file has a creation and modification date of 2003. It's wreaking havoc with Picasa, and burrying all my imported pictures in a folder thats 8 years old. Anyone else having this problem? Any Fix?
