So my phone said I had to free up some space, so I put in a 32GB SD card I bought from ebay. I realise that was stupid now.
It worked and everythig got moved, but after a ew hours, EVERYTHING IS GONE.

I am not kidding. All my picttures and videos are gone. I've tried Dr. Fone ad other recovery programs on windows, but they won't find anything on a phone that is not rooted. Since Moving things are just copying and deleting the original, there must be some way to restore everything, right? Everything from the past two years is gone, and it makes me so sad.

The SD card came with an adapter, and now my åhone or adapter for computer won't even recognise the SD card anymore. It's almost as it just stopped working. How do I fix this?

Did you have Samsung back up on ? Or Google photos back up?
Lesson here is buy reputable sd cards.

Hopefully you can do what mustang7757 advises.

Otherwise, did you touch the contacts of the card?
Try cleaning with some 100% isopropyl alcohol, try another card reader.
See if that works.

DO NOT format the card!!!
The data may be there. Contact the card manufacturer especially if it's a mainstream manufacturer like Lexar.
Maybe recoverable... Do Not use 3rd party "free" recovery apps, I know too late but don't run any others.
If the images are there a month or two will make no difference.

Welcome to Android Central! How exactly did you move the photos? With a file manager app? Or was there some app that automatically moved everything to the card?

It's very possible the SD card was counterfeit if it was from ebay. If the price sounded too good to be true it probably was. If you used PayPal you might be able to file a complaint to get your money back.
