Palm and Blackberry must be bleeding users by the 1000s
wow!
I would be interested to see how many there are like me - have to keep the BlackBerry for work purposes, but am adding Android for personal use. So Android gains a user, but BlackBerry does not lose one.

I came from the palm pre and I am happy with my decision but I can't wait for the next web os device so we can see if it can compete. I feel that web os is the best but the evo is better than the palm pre.

Well I came from a mixture of iPhone and blackberries. I have cone to the realization that all phones have flaws. That said I don't miss my blackberry at all. My evo is just a perfect fit for me and my manly hands lol , and the customization Android gives makes this phone golden for me.

Do you miss your iphone?

I agree 100%. Before EVO I was a 5 year palm user. Great phones but the pre got outdated fast.

I've had somewhat of a prodigal son type relationship... my first actual "smartphone" was the g1... but I was a rookie and did understand the potential of the little green guy...I just hates the battery life...then I moved to bb... I had a 8830 then 8330 and then 9630...I continued to still be intrigued by android and read AC everyday and educated myself...I then made a triumphant return by getting a Samsung moment...my love for the Android had never left...but when I first read about the supersonic back in February I knew it was the phone for me...I had hoped that the nexus one would come out on Sprint but when that fell through... I knew the Evo was my destiny and I haven't looked back since...thanks to AC and all the community... I'm hooked on Android probably forever...

Had win mo since the apache (ppc-6700 for those who dont remember) back in '05 till I made the switch to WebOS last year. Bought my EVO in august and kept my Pre using 2 lines. I think the customization of the Pre beats Android hands down, but overall android is awesome. Its tough to say which phone I like better as I use them both about the same. I will admit that I am quite anxious to see what the REAL next WebOS device will be (not the Pre2).

Well, my first phone was a Krazr. I broke that while playing catch, with the phone. My second was a Palm Pre, still have it on my dresser. I am now on my Evo.

I think Palm is done. I also think palm should be bought by blackberry so they can os the web os with blackberry

I am on day number 4 of carrying only the Evo. Up to this point I also carried my TP2 where ever I went. I miss the slider on the TP2, but that's about it.

I get all my email instantly from all my 5 different email accounts.

This is very simple to do.

1. Go to GMAIL online from your computer
2. top right hand corner click "Settings"
3. click "Accounts and Import"
4. set up all your other email accounts
5. on all account select option: Reply from the same address the message was sent to

This works perfect for me. I get all my emails on my main GMAIL account. Email addresses are all separated in there own email box and when you reply the email is sent from the same email address the message was sent to. I am using aol, company email, another gmail account, yahoo etc.. On the phone itself only set up your main GMAIL account that scontains all your email addresses. You can set up your email addresses using pop, imap, smtp and exchange options. I get my emails almost instantly on all accounts.
So if I use exchange active sync for work do I still set up my active sync on the evo or just use Gmail? What about the calendars and contacts.

I feel that sometimes active sync does not push the emails through
