All text messages from iPhones arrive as MMS for some reason

Hi,

Not sure what's up with this problem but every time I get a text from an iPhone, it comes as MMS, though there is no attachment (it appears as an audio or blank video recording of 2-3 seconds in length though).

Has anyone encountered this and know of a solution?

All texts from my sister on ATT always come through as mms.

That's one of the wonderful features of the iphone... lol...

It has to do with their group text after it was implemented. Its annoying but nothing we can do

Sorry to revive this thread, but I have same issue as OP. iPhone texts are arriving on galaxy s3 as mms instead of sms. This just started today, previously were coming in fine. I did not change any settings, and all iphones are doing this?

This isn't just a Group Messaging "feature" - it happens with several friends with iPhones.... Grrrrr:-$:-$

All of my friends' iPhones are. I see this is a year old. did it ever stop?
