All these new Verizon updates are bricking my Note 8!

Are you going to reinstall BK or wait? I have BK installed so that could be a common denominator with freezing issue I had. But it hasn’t happened to me in last couple of full charges.

solution to the freezing and error message. I uninstalled BK Package Disabler. no longer freezing, no messages, and my signal was restored. oddnes since this is the 2nd issue I had with this update. I'll let the dev know so he can update the app.

I have reinstalled it, and it wasn't associated with my signal at all, as I had hoped, since it has now gone back to 1 bar. no clue if it was associated to the weirdness, but as soon as it was uninstalled the error message and freezing stopped. I might have had something blocked that ticked off the system, but I don't think so. I think the app just needs a good update after that last security update. this time around it didn't work to disable some things and I had to do it in settings. a good indicator.

I would recommend backing up your blocks in the app to xml and then uninstall to test. you can use the back up to restore you settings. that said, I didn't use mine since so many things are new with the last security update, and since I made the backup. worth trying.

I may have joined the bricking group. getting weird messages suddenly and phone unresponsive. all new as of about five minutes ago. on Sprint here. not sure if I need to do a FR now.

Just do it, it's a pain in the *** but trust me it will fix it...

cancel that! My phone just started messing up again today, wow! After all the white bean and factory reset It only worked okay for 48 hours and then bam it shut off today and didn't come back on... Smh wtf

are you running BK Package Disabler? I uninstalled it after booting to recovery and getting back in and that solved my problem. I reinstalled it afterward and not a problem since.
