What we did get was direct replies, GIF keyboard support, few other niceties.

I know I saw on Reddit there was an APK available though.

Yes, it started rolling out today - but it's a staged rollout like everything, so not all devices get the update at exactly the same time.

Damn, you'd think the rollout would be quicker with just an app. Still nothing.

I like being able to hold down the microphone button and send an audio message. Very cool.
