Alternative to the samsung keyboard

For some reason with the Samsung keyboard, every once in a while it will capitalize the first letter if each word in a sentence. It is really annoying.

Kind Of Like This? Lol. Very Annoying.

To the OP - I suggest, like many have, Google Keyboard. It is a simple, no gimmicks keyboard with really good auto correct and makes typing easy. It has emoji support built into it. However, with that being said, I'm finding the stock Samsung keyboard to be more enjoyable each passing day... (typed this without a hitch on my S5...)

I just downloaded swift key and I like it because the typing is way better that the stock keyboard. But the swiping is not working that well. I guess I need to use it more.

I am also a convert to the SwiftKey kybd.

I chose it because it has the best word prediction of the current crop. I tried them all and went back to SwiftKey.
I personally have no issues with the swipe feature. In fact I kind of like it because you can write a full sentence w/o releasing your finger from the keyboard.

Read their help page on the web..... it is quite good. To get spaces between words, you just glide down to the space bar. Intuitive and quick to learn.

Captialization? The first word of every sentence is supposed to be Capitalized... but that can be irritating if you are typing out mnemonics, etc.... in that case, you just touch the "check mark" and it will accept what you typed.

Some words won't come out with swype. I need to type it out. Try swiping bloat, boat always comes out.. It's crazy.

If you hold the mic button down on the Samsung keyboard..you can then use emoji's within all apps...facebooksl, twitter, google+ etc

but if u want to try a different keyboard, I would try Swiftkey

Hi everyone

I am after a new keyboard with the swype feature and really good predictive text. It must also have emoji support. Any suggestions? I love "swype"(the keyboard) but it doesn't have emoji support. What do you use?

Yes, for quite a while now. Its called gesture typing.

I agree. What I like most about it is the look. Yeah many have themes but I've found this one to have great customization options without having to turn my phone into a Hello Kitty wannabe.

I use SwiftKey too, I like this one the best so far.
