Always on ambient display

Definitely a fan of Always On Display! I'll turn my phone upside down if I'm going to bed though, or if I'd rather not see the screen for a time. But I like having everything *there*, in case I need to see it.

It's also because I have an obsessive need to know what time it is in the middle of the night/how many hours I have left to sleep. Not helpful to have AOD at that point!

Thankfully I'm not dependent on my phone for me to know what time it is.

I don't use AOD but I don't have any other clock in my bedroom and if I wake up, I do like to know what time it is. So I use the Clock as a screensaver that only gets turned on when it is being charged or docked. That works great for me.

Nice nice good suggestion. But I've been just been doing is tapping my lock screen to highlight it for the time, weather, and then in notifications. then if I have to unlock it to go into my notifications I do so.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a Pixel stand on the way. Docked and charged is when I'll have it on.
