Is there a setting that will make the AOD shut off when the phone is in your pocket?

so...how do you know the AOD is on if it's in your pocket?

In my car I put my phone down in my center console. It only covers the top portion of the phone. If I go to touch the phone it tells me that there's an accidental touch do you actually want to turn the screen on or whatever.

If you have it set to AOD always i think it dims the screen but not turn it off

Mine turns off completely. Look in the settings for the lock screen that say something like accidental touch.

I have accidental touch on and it just dims to very faint as im showing my note 20u with top of the screen blocked from proximity sensor

Every phone that I've had, including my ZTE AXON 10 pro, has a sensor right at the top. When you covered the phone at the top, the screen would go blank.
