Always on display sideways when phone is off

I took the sd card out to transfer data and when I put it back in this happened. Tried changing settings with no luck. I HATE that sd card and sim card in same slot. Was a nightmare getting sim card to stay in. Any ideas?

Try turning the phone off and turning it back on. Your accelorometer might have gotten confused and a power cycle will help.

In the future, I'd say just leave the SD card in, connect your phone to your computer, and transfer files to the card with the file explorer.

Your always on display has a timer that is probably set to turn to edge display at a certain time and back to normal at a certain time.
Mines was preset to display sideways when I got the phone. Time was set for 9pm to 6am....

Where would that timer be located at? Don't see anything in the Always on settings. Tried powering it off and on several times with no luck. Believe me I am not removing SD Card again in this phone! Thanks for the advice. I will take it back in the morning if I can't fix it.
