Always On Display

I originally bought the S7 Edge and decided u wanted the S7. I backed up the Edge and took the phone back. I got the S7 and restored it with my back up from the Edge. At 11 pm - 7 am the Always on Display changes to the Edge Night Clock. I don't like it and because I have the S7, I can't get rid of the night clock. Anyone have this problem? I'm guessing if I back up S7, factory reset and restore it, I'm still going to have this problem.

There should be an option in the settings to disable it

That option was only available on the Edge model and not the S7. I had to back up my S7. Factory reset and restore excluding the settings data. This allowed me to remove the Edge Night clock that wasn't intended for the S7 and I much preferred the Always On anyway
