Always On Mode Screen Wake

Is there a way to disable the screen from waking up when tapping the screen?

My gear s doesn't wake up when tapping the screen. If its the auto wake up by doing the 'look at your watch' action then try this:
settings> motion> uncheck wake-up gesture.

When using the always on clock it does it.

How is your battery life with "always on", well, on???
