Am I missing something? Pics through IM?

Like many others here, I've switched from a blackberry. The official google talk IM client on the blackberry allows me to send pictures through IM. I do not see this feature on the stock gchat IM client on the DI. Am I missing something? Is there another IM client that will allow this functionality?
