Am I the only one still on June Security Update?

I just got the October Google Play System update. Had a Chat session with support, but was basically told this is nothing out of the ordinary, and it's not available for all as of yet. May get in November or December. My fold says there is an update available but that is as far as it goes?

Do you have the desktop enabled in developers settings? If so turn it off and try it again. .

I don't have that option, maybe that comes after June that I am stuck on?

Update In case anyone comes across this.
Yesterday I entered beta just too see if it would force an update and it immediately did.
It's was also the right time in the cycle to opt out without wipe, so today I did that, it updated again and now it's all caught up.
it is also no longer hanging when a manual check is done.
yesterday I did a chat session again with Google and they recommended a warranty return. I then asked about opting into beta and they said worth a try.
