Got the EVO 3D on Release day back in Summer 2011 from Sprint. And conveniently enough I'm eligable for my upgrade this Month on Sprint. Anyone else about to take the leap into a new 2 year contract with the S4?
Am the only one about to upgrade from EVO 3D to the Galaxy S4?

Yep, I'm in about the same boat as you. Got a Droid Charge (1GHz single-core, 512Mb RAM) and am eligible for upgrade tomorrow.

Same here man! The ol' Charge is still kickin. I'm eligible for an upgrade now but holding out for the GS4

I actually had the EVO 3D and was so sick of the issues I bought a used Nexus S 4G and rooted it with CyanogenMod. But the 512 MB RAM is KILLING ME! The software is better, but the hardware, not so much. So I can't wait to upgrade! Still trying to decide if I should buy the Note 2 on Amazon Wireless for $149 or just wait for the S4... The Black S4 is just too sexy, I don't think I can pass it up...
I'm in a similar boat! I bought my HTC Sensation the day it came out in 2011 and my contract ends with it in June. I'll be switching to Verizon (for better coverage) when the S4 comes out.
I'm still using a evo 3d, and loving it.
But I will say that the S4 is interesting and is on my short list.

I'm still using the Sprint Evo 3D I bought on launch day. I'm getting a T-Mobile Galaxy S4 on launch day.
No Sprint LTE around here and their 3g is too slow to use, so no way am I going to buy the Sprint S4.

I got an EVO, and then upgraded to an EVO 3D. I am debating right now between the HTC One, and the S4. I am quite sick of my EVO 3D, it has frequent lag issues, and for some reason the touch sensor sometimes just completely misreads my finger's location. Honestly I might just chose between the two based on which I can get first since I have yet to pre-order either.
You are definitely not. I've had my EVO3D since August of 2011 and I will be glad to get rid of it. This whole internal memory thing is absolutely absurd. I can't download certain updates because I have "insufficient storage or package file invalid." And forget about getting help on it because it's always the same answer.

The phone freezes up and programs just quit working. I've had to hard-reset the thing twice in 6 months. SMS lag is terrible (30 seconds to get a text out)
Hopefully the GS4 will restore my faith...for $250 friggin dollars.

I still have the original HTC EVO from Sprint! Its truly on its last legs...I have no internal memory left (and its rooted), laggy as hell, slow, and am ready to put it out to pasture. Patiently awaiting Best Buy to open their preorders up because I have a $50 coupon off my next phone (which will be the S4)!
