I am trying to put the leaked ICS rom on my amaze. I have the correct drivers installed on my computer an my bootloader on my phone is unlocked. When i run the zerg root it runs but doesn't root my phone at all. I have ran the one click method several times with the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Iam having problems with the Hasoons tool also. When I try and perm root it takes the phone into the screen where it looks like its downloading a update then after about a min or so it goes to the screen with the red exclamation point. I dont know if I am not installing something that I should have or what.

I got my amaze to root finally but when trying to apply the update its not working :-\.. Its saying its bad or something.. Iam running in clockwork recovery and it wont apply the update

I spent 4 hours trying to figure this problem out yesterday. What I did is use the Hansoons tool to unlock the boot loader. I downloaded the latest ICS leak from XDA, I am sure that you are aware of where those are located... i downloaded the RUBY_ICS_35_S_TMOUS_2.14.531.3_Radio_1.14.550L.17D C_30.78.550L.15_release, then renamed the zip file to PH85IMG.zip, dropped it into the root of the external SD card and booted the phone into boot loader... voila! it found the update and installed the stock leak of ICS.

After that I went back to Hansoons tool and reloaded the 4ext 2.3.6 recovery from version 3.1. works like charm!

Yes it really is that easy!

Just an added note - after the boot loader finds the PH85IMG file, it will go through a short set of updates and installations - then it will reboot and you will be on HBOOT 1.93.002 - after it reboots, it will install the full system and radio - whole process takes about 15 minutes +/-.

When ever the bootloader tries to unzip the file it keeps coming up saying its bad and can't open the zip. I've downloaded the PH85IMG several times an had the same results on all of them. Iam rooted an my bootloader is unlocked but luck still no luck applying it
