Sadly no support on the Xoom. I couldn't get around in the app that well... seemed the buttons weren't responding in game. Maybe the large screen or something. Would've been a fun one to play on the Xoom with so much real estate.

As I said, I'm still new with all things Android. But regarding Amazon: why is their "Android market" and their "Android App Store" separate as far as being a "known" source?

Sorry if this is a weird question, but I just want to understand how all this works.

Google programmed the OS to automatically allow the installation of apps from their android market. The amazon app store just opened the other day. Even though amazon for me is a known and trusted source the OS has to be told it is.

I like these free $5 apps. I never would of played WSOP if I didn't get it for free and it plays awesome on the Xoom.

Confirmed. I had this for my iPod on the free app of the day. It was surprisingly good. I need to load it up on the xoom.

Quoted because of how AWESOME this deal is. I have been using a black market version of Shazam but felt bad not supporting the developer, but couldn't justify a $5 app that I don't use THAT often. Now Amazon can support them for me!

got the amazon app store installed, but the issue now is getting the app i download to install! =(

at least it'll be there for me to download for free later.

got shazam right before 3am hit and then SwiftKey.


edit: i was able to install the apps after reading how to find the apk on the device.

After reading that it was not even as good as Thumb Keyboard I did not want to bother registering etc... I use and like Swift on my X --- but they need to make the XOOM version at least as good as Thumb. Heck for free - I can't complain. I love AMAZON!!
