Why can I not use the Amazon app on this device is it all GPE devices or what

Are you saying that Google Play shows it to be incompatible with your phone, or that you install it and try to run it, but it doesn't work? And this is a silly question, but you're sure you didn't install the Amazon for Tablet app, right?

Also, what country are you in? There is a separate Amazon app for Germany, as far as I can tell.

Correct: The Amazon store app can be easily installed onto our Sony GPe from the Amazon app store.

On the Amazon store, you'll find two versions of the store app: basic and tablet. I recommend installing the version designed for tablets; its interface is richer, more complete. For example, it let's you see all your wish lists; the basic app will show you only your default list.

Be sure to pick the version designed for tablets. Otherwise, you'll get a more spare interface that wont let you see all your wish lusts; just your default wish list.
