Not really a problem I guess, but something strange happened after I rooted my phone and added the one click lag fix I found here:

Samsung Captivate Gets Captivilicious with Simple Lag Fix - Tested

It seems that when I restart my phone I don't get the S splash screen anymore. I get the att world phone screen then a black screen with the sounds. As I said before, its not really a problem for me but I'm really wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and if anyone knows why I lost the S startup screen.

40 views and no responses. . . LOL! I guess this is a one time problem. Phone works great just one weird thing. Guess it could be from the problems I had installing the lagfix and bricking the phone on my first attempt. . .

I am having the same problem on my Verizon fascinate. When I start up my phone, I get the Samsung screen but no animation. Screen goes black while the audio plays, then the phone comes to life. I noticed it after I did the software update. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you use the Unleash the Beast rooting/bloatware remover?? I know when I originally used that, UTB removed the ATT boot up video...

Cheers,
Charlie

Most of the lag fixes have issues like this. the only one that does NOT is the Voodoo lag fix - it is a deeper fix, but it does things the right way, but reformatting all the OS partitions as EXT4 - you don't lose any data, but you also don't have issues with one file system trying to ride on top of another.
