Anadtech review is out

Sony Xperia Z3 (5.2") and Z3 COMPACT (4.8", Basically same size than regular iPhone 6) both leave the iPhone 6 + in the dust in that department, and both of them great flagship phones, only problem for them is that Sony doesn't seems to make good decisions and business moves in a decade. Z3 was until now, that I have the S6 edge, the best all around phone I've had in my life.

Samsung decided to use a very small battery so they could get this great design that has been globally acclaimed and accepted as one of the best, if not the best looking phone outhere, the tradeoff? Battery size, people should know this before buying it but even that they have managed to make that this thin, beautiful phone with the best QHD outthere and one of the lightest phone still gets 5-6 SoT when no Lollipop bug gets on its way, like is the case for a lot of us in this forum, that my friends is a total wonder of technology, even when some people will never think the same way. Be a little more patient guys, do a couple of our suggested tweaks in the meantime and once Google and Samsung find and fixes al the bugs, I assure you, you won't regret it.

Especially like the last couple of sentences of your post. Rather than vent frustrations about issues that will hopefully be addressed in due time, patience is something that early adopters should develop if they have not already.

I was an early adopter when I bought the Thunderbolt.. First 4G LTE Verizon phone..I feel like we are not that anymore. I shouldn't be classified in that category.. We should be far removed from the beta stage by now.

I'm keeping the faith, for one. I have high confidence that Google and/or Samsung can get the S6 to a more than acceptable spot for most people - roughly 4-5 hours SoT and 20 hours of standby. I love using my S6, so many great features, but like the article said, a poor battery experience can all but ruin the best of phones.

"At this point, it really goes without saying that battery life can make or break the experience of a smartphone. The anxiety that is associated with running out of battery is probably one of the worse experiences to have when using a smartphone, which is why good battery life is important. In theory, a phone should never run out of battery in a single day no matter the use case..."

You do have to appreciate that for many people suffering pretty badly with Lollipop and/or the Cell standby bug, it's a really frustrating experience, especially with phones as expensive as these have now become.

Many of the suggestions posted on this site will help but it really seems that many are still fighting an uphill battle against Lollipop or the Cell standby drain which are things beyond their control.

I can totally sympathize and appreciate with their concerns and wish the solution presented itself yesterday. There are better ways to express their views in a way that encourages the respectfulness that a great dailofpgue needs. The phone has only been out a week. Save the pitchforks for later if the issues aren't resolved soon. Look how quickly Samsung pushed out an update. You have to expect some issues when millions of mass produced devices are released so quickly.
