And other devices

I'm using my Moto 360 as my daily watch (like most?), paired to my old Galaxy S4. Bluetooth on the phone is always on, so the 360 is always connected (as it should be).

But I also have Bluetooth in my car for hands-free calling, which I used to love to use because the audio output came through the car speakers.

Now, the car hands-free won't connect (seemingly) because my phone is already connected to my 360.

Checked through multiple forums, seems there's a wide range of feedback from "multiple devices are not supported" to "multiple devices work just fine"... and I'm trying to get the skinny from anyone who's in the exact situation I'm in (owning a Wear device, and having BT in your car) to see if anybody's been able to get things to work, or what you're doing to utilize your devices.

If I want to connect to my car hands-free, and my 360 is on my wrist, do I really have to go manually disconnect (or even unpair) the watch??

I think I ran into the problem once with my Note 3 and the solution was to reset the Moto 360 and then it worked fine. Other than that, when used it in my Toyota with Entune and had my Moto 360 connected to my Note 3, it ran fine without issues. I could keep them both running together when I was in the car. Even when I was at home and I was using my BT wireless headphones and my 360, I had no issues.

I'm with you. My nexus 5 pairs moto 360 and my Nissan Bluetooth together at the same time. I also have Bluetooth headphones that connects without having fight for it to work.

To the OP, you might want to test it out with other Bluetooth devices if you have them and see if any of them can connect simultaneously.

I stated that incorrectly... should be the Nexus 5 connects to the Mazda and Moto 360 simultaneously!
When I get a text I'm surrounded by notifications. My watch vibrates, the phone chimes, and the car notifies me to download message! I am in data overload sometimes!

Thanks all!
I was thinking it should work, and yet...

Did any of you have to fiddle at all with the bluetooth profiles, or did everything just work straight away?

I just pair them up and forget. Didn't even go through any settings. Except for the volume control. My phone is basically hub of all Bluetooth devices.
