And the mystery continues...

That may be the case, but don't you think since there is a big red V on the outside of the store, they should be a little more informed in the business they're dealing in?

To me its like bringing a ford to a privately owned shop for something simple like an oil change and them not doing it since they're not a genuine ford dealer.

You would think so. But then again it may be more complex than that. Your analogy might be a little off, but I do get what you are trying to say. We also can't rule out the possibility of corporate VZW wanting customers at their store first. Kind of like how usually you have to wait a little extra for the 3rd party vendors to get the phone. Then again, who knows what VZW is thinking right now. 3G or not, they should have picked up the GS2 for the customers who don't have 4G. Hell, there are still some parts of the country running 1X instead of 3G. Even with the theory of another Sammy product coming to VZW, there are plenty of customers willing to pass on 4G. And being one of the best phones on the market despite being 6 months old should say something. I would love to sit in on some of their meetings to see what the heck they are thinking. Lol

But we are not talking about the GSII, we're talking the bionic :p.
And from what I'm seeing, everyone will be getting it about the same time...I have no idea why.

Yeah I couldn't agree more. Some of the decisions Big Red is making are mind boggling to me.
Like their decision in the past to completely cripple the phones on their network while all the other carriers have the same devices running at full steam with nothing holding them back ( HTC Touch Pro)

I assume they have their twisted reasoning behind all that, but me as a consumer, do not see the point of that :p

I am referring to what is VZW thinking. The gs2 is just another time relevant example.

I think you're with verizon not necessarily because its phone selection but its top notch service. I think people who want to have the latest and greatest should be with at&t, that way you could import any phone you want and use it.

I stopped caring about that a while ago and now i just want continuous phone calls and solid relaible service.

Tried calling the other store this morning after the official release of the phone tomorrow and they're still denying that they have stock that it "might" be sold tomorrow. Really people?
