AC Question

Tried flashing SuperSu binary to device with TWRP, didn't work first time but after clearing cache and Dalik it worked only to go to a verification screen and forcing me to reset data and trying without that puts into a permident boot loop.

Tried using cf auto root,
1. Cleared cache, Dalik and used normal recovery - boot lopped a couple of times then said rotted, restarted and no root access was gained.
2. Tried clearing cache, data, Dalik and installed twrp and tried above again, same result.

Then I tried all other 'One click methods' to no Advil.

Device SM-T7819Y Andriod Nougat

TWRP having issues while installing SuperSU i have faced the same bug on my Galaxy j7 prime finally i have rooted my J7 prime using ADB sideload with PC.

Make sure that SuperSU lists your phone as one of the phones it works on. It doesn't work with all phones.

(In order to root a phone, you have to copy the su binary to /system/bin or /system/xbin - but you need root to do that, so SuperSU can get temporary root on some phones to do that, but not on all phones. And not on all versions of Android for a particular phone either.)
