Hello,

I updated my phone last night with the above updates and for some reason, Windows 10 now no longer sees my phone's hotspot.

Other devices in my home connect to the phone just fine. No updates were applied to my PC before or after the phone update.

I've reset everything on the phone multiple times. The network isn't hidden. Encryption doesn't make a difference. Changing the band doesn't do anything either.

The phone connects to the internet fine via USB and Bluetooth.

Does anyone know what could have happened and if there is a way to solve this issue?

Thank you.

Seems your PC is the issue. Troubleshoot your network adapter. If that doesn't fix it try setting up a new conection.

My PC detects other wireless networks that are in range. It doesn't see my phone at all. I cant make a new connection if the PC doesn't detect a router to connect to.

I just looked, it removed the hotspot from my drop down menu. Google sucks.

You mean it removed it? Can you edit the Quick Settings menu to add it back? Do you have a Galaxy A50 as well, or some other phone?

Yes removed. I corrected that, thanks.
I have LGG7 TMobile. And yes it removed the icon from the dragdown notification, quick settings menu, and no longer there to be added back. I now have to go to actual settings, networks, and tethering. Lame.

I agree, that's pretty lame.:-\ But that was an LG decision, not a Google decision. I can tell you that because the Hotspot toggle is still readily avaialble on my Pixel 3 XL, which is the standard for Google's vision of Android.
