I just got my Mate 20 Pro couple of weeks ago and it's on 9.0
What I've seen:

Been checking for any updates on my Mate 20 Pro and all I've received was a March 2019 security update. Got it after I charged the phone up. Now beginning to wonder if because I didn't register/create a Huawei account setting the phone up for the first time, could be the reason for not getting update to EMUI 9.1 which came out earlier this year or any other updates.
Has anyone else received updates either with or without registering or creating a Huawei account with initial setting up of your phone?

Any tips on setting up your Mate 20 for EMUI updates?
US region not seeing anything except a March security update at 1st bootup.

Emui 19 beta was major let down. Huawei had an opportunity to add more features and functionality to their skin yet chose not to. Same old ...

I was on emui 10 beta but have rolled back to 9.1. The damn status bar icons were much brighter also which I didn't like,
nor the fact that aod is still as useless as ever.

What's so good about it?
They didn't even fix notification bubbles and badges yet from 9.1.

Attached image is the list of "new features" taken from official Huawei page. The gap between one ui and emui is even bigger now, Huawei missed the ball on this one . Somehow I don't think they care anymore.

Ever since I updated mine, I have problems with my internet service with no wifi. Although, my messages and notifications goes thru,. My Google Chrome and other apps won't work without wifi.

I'm in the US with the Model LYA-L29. I'm still on Build 9.0.0.243(C636E10R1P17). It's running Android 9 with the April 1, 2019 security patch. I've tried everything to get it updated, including HiCare and HiSuite, all without success.

Im in US as well, Model LYA-L29. Yet I am on Build Number 9.0.0.215, Security Patch March 1, 2019. Looks like you have a more up to date one than me.
