In some if my apps a settings option of 3 dots would appear in the nav bar. Since installing Android 10 those options don't appear so I can't change app settings nor back up data in those apps. I use Nova but that doesn't affect nav bar.. Any idea how to get settings dots back?

Did you have Good Lock when on Android Pie? It wasn't initially on Android 10 but I know a February 2020 update is now available.

I found an app called menu button 4.0 works by emulating a keyboard that contains the missing buttons. I was able to back up my notes. Now I can transfer them to computer.

If there were only a modern app that could input a list of txt format notes in a folder.

I just opened about seven different apps and every one of them still has the three dots at the upper right that I can click on for several different menu choices, which changes based on the particular app obviously! I'm just running bare Android 10 on my Note 9... just got it (the Android 10 Update) two days ago!

It depends on the app.and how recently it was updated. Believe me my legacy apps have no alternative way to get the menu. It used to be 3 dots on lower right nav bar. Now there is nothing. There wouldn't be an app in the app store to cure this issue if there were no issue! There's a thread in Reddit about it too. You can also connect to a keyboard it it has a menu key. Your apps have been updated more recently than mine or had code written to prevent this issue.
