That was the file size for my Pixel 3 XL as well.

Yeah most likely, my pixel 4xl was 1.72gb

Found my first annoying bug. I can't get it to stay with Nova as my launcher. If I go to any app and get out of it, pixel launcher defaults. I have to hit the home button then it goes back to Nova.

I forget where in settings it is to set launcher.

@Eric, I was trying different launchers when I saw the shell. The shell is only 127kb in size and can’t be deleted so it’s baked in. Was just curious about it. Not surprisingly all my 3rd party launchers have bugs and issues so back on the OEM launcher.
When I attempted to initiate a start on the shell it caused some of my Icons to gray out. If it’s a new feature option don’t know what it is for. I’ll stay tuned.

Oddly enough I found it in Nova's settings. Once clicked it's no longer giving me an issue. So far it's made everything wicked fast.

One cool feature I like so far is the transition when you pull down notifications. The wallpaper moves into the background. When you swipe the notifications away, the wallpaper moves closer.

Kinda neat.

Haha, yep yep! When I first flashed Android 11 beta on my Pixel 3 XL, I thought the same exact thing! The window animations and the app animations are beautiful.. very smooth, fast, and responsive.

Now running the beta is definitely the main reason to use a pixel. Always first with the new OS. I am using the oldest device 2XL. Maybe next year i will. buy a cheap 3a or 4a so I can run Android 12

Yeah, I hear ya. My pixel buds just randomly disconnected a few minutes ago. Tried to manually reconnect them to no avail. So, I had to reboot my pixel 3 XL, and voila, back in action again...
