Android 11 screenshots

This is my experience as well. Unable to take a screen shot with assistant. Check your sensors. I'm one of the many with nonfunctional sensors. That could be the issue

My sensors checked out fine.
What I'm having a problem with is that the Assistant works fine, including the TAKE A PICTURE command.

Did you already look for the menu that Smokeaire01 posted earlier (post 18, https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=1010300&p=6857601&viewfull=1#post6857601)? Search your settings for Digital Assistant App, then make sure Use Screenshot is toggled on.

I don't see that App listed in All Apps. No Digital Assistant.

But I do have Assitant installed. Its icon is a Larger Blue Ball on the left, a red and orange ball and a smaller green ball. I don't see where to tweak

It's not an app, it's a system setting -- it's Settings>Apps>Advanced>Default Apps>Digital Assistant App.

The toggle is on for USE SCREENSHOT. Did you notice that ERROR MESSAGE I posted earlier? Does that help in figuring out what the problem is? I still have a problem understanding why ASSISTANT works in all my attempts to use it, especially TAKE A PICTURE.

Try resetting and the Google app, long press it then tap Info >scroll to storage then clear data /cache and force stop it, and make sure that toggle on for assistance take screen shot after.

I had tried this once before but I tried it again. This time, in addition to CLEANING THE CACHE and STOP, I also DISABLED and REENABLED it. It still doesn't work. Is there anything else I can try? What danger lurks if I uninstalled it and reinstalled?

Is the Google app enrolled in beta?

No danger, I believe puts you in previous version

No beta. I thought that once android 11 was installed, there was no turning back. If I could go back to Android 10, I'll do it in a heartbeat.
