Android 11 update - iHeart radio keeps cutting out

I got the Android 11 update the other day...I really wish I wouldn't receive updates, they just mess up a perfectly working device but that's a whole 'nother topic

Anyway my iHeartRadio keeps cutting out, usually a short time after the screen goes to sleep. I've done the following:
- I've allowed background activity
- Turned off battery optimization
- It's in the Never Sleeping Apps function
I read somewhere to uninstall smart switch but not sure of the correlation there.

Any ideas?

Why not wait for the app to update so it's compatible with Android 11? THis sort of thing often happens when there are OS updates, it's nothing new.

Probably needs to get updated the app , for smart switch I don't either see the correlation.
