Make sure you send a bug report. This one really needs to be fixed in Beta 4.
I do the phone forced stop to get rid of the notifications.
I will definitely try to submit that later. Force stop phone app didn't clear it for me. I agree, this definitely needs to be fixed.

Yeah, it looks as though beta 4 might be the last beta stage before production. I thought that there was going to be a fifth though.

They have a long way to go before it’s stable.

I can tell you, iOS 15 beta is much more solid.

Well alrighty then haha. For the most part beta 3 is pretty good on my phone not going to lie. I know a lot of people complain about the beta program, however at the end of the day no one's forcing anyone to be in the beta program. That's why it's a beta you test and you report bugs and issues.

But the beta eventually become the public OS. It has to work!

Yes, oh absolutely. By the time it's public, it'll be solid. It always is. I mean like I've said in previous posts, Android 12 beta 1 versus Android 10 and Android 11 beta 1 stages, 12 is much more stable than the past 2 OSs were on my phone.

I didn't take any of the above posts as complaints, just someone expressing their opinion. In my opinion Android 12 beta is way buggier and unstable that 11 beta was last Summer. I agree that Google has a long way to go before this is stable enough for the general public. I sure as heck would not recommend this current build to anyone that is normal user. But I'm also confident that Google is going to get this polished, running smooth before the public release. That's why we have beta programs, so those that are a little more tech savvy can use it, submit bug reports and help squash bugs before the public release.

Agree!

For some reason I don't recall A11 Beta's being overall as buggy or worse as A12 Beta. I do think A12 Beta 3 is more buggy than A12B2. As far as being confident that the public release of A12 having all bugs and features fixed I'm from Missouri...show me.

Don't know if it's my big Nova update from last night, but I can't clear the phone notifications regardless of what animation scale I put them at anymore.

I have my animations on 0 and I can't clear those notifications. I force stop my phone app to clear the notifications. It also seems if I restart my phone I'm able to swipe clear once. After that it's a no go for swiping. Then it's back to phone force stop.

Yeah I force stopped the app and cleared them.

I'm actually surprised and disappointed that Google hasn't issued a fix for this. Hopefully it will be in Beta 4, along with some other reported bugs. It should.

I've just discovered that my Google Pixel Buds 2 aren't announcing incoming text messages. I'm checking in with Google to see if it's a setting I've missed, but if not, should I open a new bug report, or just lost additional information under the previous bug report? Initially GA didn't work at all with the buds.

Honestly, I'd open up a bug report. My Google Assistant in my Pixel Buds thankfully is working absolutely fine.

I figured it out. I had turned off alerts and notifications in Wear OS. Once I turned that back on, I started getting them again. 0

That's great. It's always nice when it's something simple. Of course it can result in a hand slap to the forehead.

You can say that again!

I also took that update but it kept crashing and put my phone into a boot loop of constant restarts. Disappointed I can't use it. I was able to get out of that and I'm back on the pixel launcher until they fix Nova.
