Well, you said you re-booted your infotainment system in the car. What I'd also suggest doing is clearing the cache in android auto app. Hopefully, that'll make a difference as well. The Android Auto performance & connection can really be a hit or miss sometimes.. .That's the annoying part!
Oh, no I rebooted my phone, not my infotainment. My infotainment doesn't really need to be rebooted yet. It doesn't really get hiccups. I'll mess with the cache on the app

Yeah, I hear ya! I think I've rebooted my infotainment system once in my car. It doesn't really need to be touched. Yeah, Try clearing the cache from your Android Auto app. If that doesn't fix the freezing issues. Try to uninstall the app from your Play Store, and re-install it. Maybe a fresh update is all that's needed.

I don't know if this is a beta thing or an Android auto thing but just starting yesterday, each time my phone is connected to my car it completely freezes mid drive. I have to do a very long power button press(20+ seconds) to get it to reboot.

Anyone else experiencing this?
Are you using the Android Auto app that's part of your car?

This morning my assistant doesn’t seem to have shown up for work. Something happened over nite. The google app keeps closing, certainly related. I think there was a google app update yesterday. Probably related to that. Hoping for a new beta tomorrow.

I found with my Pixel buds that I sometimes have to tap a 2nd time to get GA to respond. Figuring it may be related to Google app beta update yesterday.

I received a Google app beta update yesterday and so far Assistant is working fine as with everything else, no problems so far.

Just checked again, assistant still not working for me and the Google app continues to stop working. Hoping for a new beta tomorrow that tunes things up

I just noticed a tiny symbol I've never seen before. It's a tiny rotating symbol that appears in the lower left hand corner of the screen when I'm in an app, not home screen. Tapping on it turns the screen landscape. I very rarely use Landscape mode (it's turned off), so having this option for when I do is nice. I'm not sure how long thats been around.
See screenshot.

They brought that in with Android 10 or 11 I think but they enhanced it for Android 12.
