Has anyone been able to get the current call "chip" to work on there phones? Versus the bubbles I mean. I am enrolled in the Google phone beta app of course and I haven't been able to use it yet. I'm getting sick and tired of the bubble for ongoing calls haha

Damn, sorry to hear that UGH! For me, Gboard Auto thiemming I got to work a few weeks ago at least. The whole bubble feature of the current call notifications driving me nuts and Android 10 or 11 whenever it was introduced. Lol. Can't wait for the new chip to start working from me.

So is everyone still mostly using the stock pixel launcher on this beta? I tend to have a hard time sticking to it and wander off to a custom launcher. I will say the custom launchers are becoming more stable in beta 4.

Yeah, I haven't used Nova launcher or a third party launcher in many many years. I love the stock pixel launcher especially more so now with Android 12 beta and the material you customization!

Stock launcher for me. I like it for the most part. As soon as Google works out some of the ongoing launcher bugs, I'll like it even more.

I get that for sure. I have some kind of need to change it up frequently. :)
As far as the material you stuff I'm not missing anything. It transfers over to any launcher I've tried. If it didn't then that'd be another whole issue. I've never liked having a visible notification bar, if only pixel had the option to remove it.

Yeah no I hear you! :-) I just have never really been into a third party launchers. I use Nova launcher a little bit by my older Galaxy S8 many many moons ago, but on all my Pixel phones, I've just always used a stock pixel launcher.

I don't see the floating button he mentions when in recent apps to share a photo from the page. Is there a setting change I need to make? Or am I using it wrong?
After reviewing the video I don't think you're doing anything wrong. One thing I've learned watching various "new features" videos is not all features will be available on all phones, either immediately or over time. My Pixel 4a never got the "back tap" feature. Maybe it will show up later or the phone just doesn't have the sensor to make this work. Don't know.
So ultimately we will have to wait until beta 4.1 or the public beta release to see which phones get what features.

After messing around with it I get the share floating icon but only under certain conditions and even then not all of the time. I long pressed an image which turned it blue. Then went back to my home screen and then back to used app screen. There was an "X" under the app. I pressed the "X" and the icon showed up. Can you say convoluted. So I would just long press an image until it turns blue.

Update to my above post. In most used screen press the "Select" button on bottom right. Then press "X". It will show up but I think only if it is an image.

Has anyone else had issues with Google Duo for audio quality? When I call someone from my phone that has an Android device, from phone to phone connection, the audio is have duplex one way my voice or the other person's voice gets cut off when I'm talking. Also, the video quality no matter if it's Wi-Fi, or cell data is usually very choppy and pixelated. It's better quality when I go to duo.google.com and video call them from my laptop. Has anyone ever experienced this before? It's kind of annoying when you call someone Android phone to Android phone and the audio is choppy and gets cut off a lot. However, my wife has an iPhone 10R, and whenever she calls me or I call her the audio is much smoother and it doesn't get cut out. I don't get it.

My duo has been flawless.

Really? Now, let me ask you, which phones are you using Duo with? It's really weird to troubleshoot this issue because Just like the Beta Android 12 program, not everyone has this issue but it is an annoying issue to me. For example, whenever I use Hangouts with my family, those issues don't exist. The problem is that Hangouts is supposedly going away this year. Whenever I use Duo on my Laptop to a phone, the video and audio look and sound much better than Android phone to android phone. Like I said, my wife iPhone 10R sounds and looks fine as well. I just don't get it The internet connection is stable and fast enough as well. mhmmmm...

My Duo has been working fine as well, I have 4a 5G, other party is using Android as well, not sure what phone, though.

mhmm, that's good for you, but weird overall. I get audio cutouts and quite a bit of choppiness on Android platform which is ironic obviously. lol I just don't get it. There aren't any settings I'm missing right? Like I said, I use Duo with my Wife on her iPhone Xr, and it's always fine. just not the same experience with my parents on Android. That's the frustrating part.

Maybe try uninstalling updates, clearing the cache, force stopping, rebooting and reupdating duo
