I agree as far as this beta being quite stable. On my 4a I have not had any issues with my apps or random crashes. I’m also a beta tester for new Apple iOS updates and looking forward to checking out iOS 15 this coming week but android has it knocked out of the park for stable betas compared to Apple IMO. So far Nova 7 beta is the only thing that’s isn’t always stable and does close out sometimes so waiting for the next update for Nova. But who’d a thunk a beta on a beta not having some issue. :)

I also beta test iOS and am looking forward to the 15 beta as well. I am also running and Alpha launcher on my Android Beta. Niagara Launcher.

Kizzy, you tried AIO launcher? I’ve been running it for a couple of years off and on it and it’s been very stable on this beta. The customizations are pretty unique and seemingly endless. I switch between it and Niagara which I also like for its pure simplicity and also the way it handles notifications.

Not really. I am in a special alpha tester group for Niagara so I am helping Peter with refining Niagara and it has been working really well on A12. I could try AIO but not whilst I am testing Niagara.

Yeah probably right about Android 11 June update coming Monday, usually Android 12 beta 2 with June comes few days after but sometimes can happen same day as June update for 11
I'm rethinking the update date. The first public beta became available on May 18th so the next update might not arrive until the 18th if this month. Even thinking that I will be checking through out today.

Not sure if anyone else here has noticed / realize this... I've already posted this on Reddit sub forums under pixel buds. However, today with the latest Google app update in my Play Store, my pixel buds is Google Assistant is broken. I've already reported the app crashing to Android 12 beta feedback to Google of course. Just wanted to let everyone here know that. I have hard reset my pixel buds 4 times in a row. Enrolled in the beta program for the Google app, unenrolled in it, nothing seems to work unfortunately. Hopefully / thankfully it seems to be a temporary issue; this morning and all throughout the Android 12 beta so far, my pixel buds Google Assistant has been absolutely fine of course.

So today I finally went back to 11. I just missed not having Assistant available for my Pixel Buds 2. I didn't realize how much I depended on them, and to get verbal announcements of my incoming messages as I'm listening to music or a podcast.

It certainly wasn't as smooth as upgrading to the beta, but I was able to get everything restored with no issues. I did have to turn off 2FA to get logged into Google, though.

I may yet try to jump in on the beta again further down the line. I really enjoy looking for bugs to report.

I'm glad guys like you are willing to tackle the bugs, to get those new android versions ready to Rock and Roll for the lazy bum's like us lol. I've never met a beta anything I liked :p

The only beta I liked was Windows 7. But that's mainly because I hated Vista so much.

Windows 7 was awesome. I was even chosen by Microsoft to be a party host. Still have the box with the party gifts in it.

So, what does everyone keep their YouTube resolution settings at? Over the weekend, watched a little over an hour of YouTube at highest resolution with 0 to 1 bars of signal on my phone. Obviously it drained my Pixel 5's battery to about 50 to 55% quickly. The problem with automatic mode is the fact that it's supposed to auto toggle the resolution depending on the bandwidth you have. That doesn't exactly happen. You couldn't be on the fastest bandwidth in your house, and that auto resolution video setting won't make the resolution for the video higher if that makes any sense. I tested this yesterday in my house. Has anyone ever tested this before? Basically I was forcing the highest resolution with barely any LTE signal whatsoever.

Same here for me as well. Pixel 5 Android 12 beta 2! Material you as in effect, the shortcuts and the quick toggles take it and used to. That's for sure.
Yeah just seen the update available on the pix 5

I'm thinking the missing cell signal indicator in the status bar is a thing and not a bug. When I walk out of range of my Wi-Fi it reappears and the Wi-Fi disappears. It also says LTE which it never did before. In any case I kind of like it

Curious to hear how Beta 2 works for everyone. I'm not sure if I'm gonna jump in at 2 or wait for 3. Decisions, decisions. I read that Google is doing 8 releases, which I believe count the developer previews before beta.
