I wish they would let the material you option loose on the at a glance widget. Or at least have that choice. Sometimes something other than white text is preferable especially on a home screen

Here how I agree. Not only that, In addition I wish they always on lock screen were material you as well.

Not sure if this is an Android 12 bug or not. Running beta 2 on Galaxy S21 Ultra. Starting this morning when someone sends me a text message with a link, I am unable to open the link automatically by clicking on it as I have always done. Instead, I get an oval pop up with the options to call, copy or share. No new recent updates for Textra and Chrome is set as default. In order to open link, I now have to copy and paste it manually to the browser. Anyone else or any ideas?

Never mind, figured it out. Apparently, links sent for eBay items contain numeric characters that trigger a call option when you click on the link. Looks like an eBay problem, not Android 12. I tried some different site links and they give you the option to open in your default browser.

I've been having a a very frustrating issue with Google Assistant and Android Auto recently paired I'm not sure if this is due to Android 12 beta program or not.. When I'm using Android Auto in my car, and I speak a command to my Google Assistant, number one sometimes the command is not even hurt, number two when I'm speaking a long message two or three sentences, my Google Assistant doesn't pick it up and times out.

I have noticed that my wife's apple carplay with her iPhone 10R works much better attaching long messages etc. Has anyone else experienced this at all? Again, I'm not sure if it's due to the Android 12 beta program or not, but it's very frustrating as you can tell. Thanks for any support!

I have Android Auto on my phone (not in my car), but have been using Driving Mode recently. Love it for the most part.

I have a funny feeling that driving mode is different than regular Android Auto though thanks for the feedback though.

Any good walk-through videos you know of for Android 12? I'm about to get back into Android and I forgot a ton since i've been using iOS exclusively for the last 3 years or so.

I have not had any issues with Assistant not catching my launch phrase so far when connected to AA.

I did run into the long text issue the other day. Normally my responses are very short when texting via voice / Assistant and driving. But the other day I tried to send a longer response, maybe 3 sentences. Assistant stopped transcribing about 3/4 of the way and asked if I was ready to send it. I'm not sure if it's a bug (with Assistant, Android 12 or Android Auto) or just a limitation of how long Assistant can actively listen.

Yep yep that's what I'm talking about. I honestly don't get it whether it's a bug with Android to a beta, or just the Google app in general. I usually send shorter responses to people in Android Auto, but I have a tendency of sending longer messages if I need to obviously. Thanks for your feedback though.

Don't have a specific walkthrough guide to look at but perhaps check youtube, I've seen many on there.

So, do we think the final Android 12 will drop this Tuesday? I'm still wishing for everything to return to my At a Glance widget.

I had to reset my 4a 5G yesterday as all my apps began to crash and close. Even settings. Lucky it didn't take too long to set it back up as I don't keep all my apps on it. Running nicely again. But at a glance still broken on reset

So, this finally came in the mail today from Verizon wireless!

I don't know what happened but yesterday and today a lot of my apps and widgets started crashing too on my P5. I haven't changed anything, just very coincidental.
