It seems that Samsung has delayed its Android 12 and One UI 4.0 beta release yet again and the expected roll-out for the beta test firmware for the eligible S21 devices will now not begin until sometime in October.

"Going by word on the grapevine, Samsung has once again postponed the rollout of the One UI 4.0 beta. Initial reports indicated a September release, starting with the Galaxy S21 series, but that will no longer be the case. The One UI 4.0 beta has supposedly been postponed, with Samsung choosing to spend some more time on bug-fixing instead. It looks likely that the beta will finally start rolling out in October."

This could postpone a stable release until December or early January.

Pretty standard, don't really care that much though if I'm honest. They'll probably remove the good stuff from Android 12 anyway.
Like what would be removed? They have features the usually show up later in new Andriod versions.

Can't give examples from 12, because it's not out. But a couple of examples from 11 off the top of my head are the Home controls on the power button and A-B partitioning.

Sure they add functionality, but they also remove it.

A-B partition supposedly since the 9 series but no big deal on that and for home button control that pixels have i can do that in advanced settings>side key >choose a app then home app

The fact that you don't think it's useful doesn't change the fact it was removed, I actually want A-B partitioning. And opening the home app is nowhere near the same as the quick menu.

No i mean rumors for A-B partition was since the 9 series , Samsung never had it yet. As user of both devices for long time i dont see it as a must have . For home app its your preference but either way is just as quickly , double press power or pull the notifications panel down. You might not care for Android 12 but im looking forward on Samsung .

Only in Samsung's home country, South Korea, for the eligible SM-G99*N devices.

Last year, the Android 11 beta roll out for the S20 devices, started in South Korea and then moved to the U.S.A. and 2 weeks after that, it came to the eligible worldwide devices...

UI beta 4 and android 12 is live for the USA. I'm in Kansas and I'm running it now.

Ignore the previous report in post #1, as Samsung have begun rolling out Beta 12 to the following eligible devices so far...

  • South Korea (G99*N)
  • USA (G99*U1)
  • Germany (G99*B)

Google made A-B partitioning mandatory in devices running Android 11 out of the the box, but Samsung still cut it out.
Because Samsung.

There's a reason why they did , but thats for whole different topic, we let these beta tester fill us in here on what to expect , hopefully my Note20U gets it soon so i can test it out also.

I downloaded it. I don't see much difference. I opened the Samsung members app and it said welcome to the beta program, then a pop-up that said that I am permanently banned from the community. Now it won't let me use the app at all. Not able to give feedback on the beta program. More retarded Samsung junk.
