Go to post #14, onwards

It seems that Samsung has delayed its Android 12 and One UI 4.0 beta release yet again and the expected roll-out for the beta test firmware for the eligible S21 devices will now not begin until sometime in October.

"Going by word on the grapevine, Samsung has once again postponed the rollout of the One UI 4.0 beta. Initial reports indicated a September release, starting with the Galaxy S21 series, but that will no longer be the case. The One UI 4.0 beta has supposedly been postponed, with Samsung choosing to spend some more time on bug-fixing instead. It looks likely that the beta will finally start rolling out in October."

This could postpone a stable release until December or early January.

The phone is real choppy since download. REAL choppy. And no way to give feedback to Samsung because they won't let me into the app.
It's only the first beta. I've seen the same thing. They'll workout the kinks. I'm glad everything actually works.

This is my first experience with testing a beta ui. I'll take your word for it and just wait for them to work it out. At least nothing seems to be broken!
As far as your being banned from participating with feedback, I really have no idea. Very strange.

My first non-Apple beta. So far so good, but I downgraded just to see if it was a pain to do. Not difficult at all, just time consuming.

In regards to the choppiness issue, I'm not seeing that at all. Are you seeing this on a particular app or in a particular process?

I see it when pulling down the notification shade. Mostly when extending it full screen. It looks half baked. Like I said earlier, it's just the first beta. Things will get ironed out.

Things are a bit better after wiping the cache partition.

Am seeing it when closing an app, when sliding to another app tray, and when opening the side panel. But, in the past few minutes things have started to smooth out quite a bit.
