You listed things that probably just from updating c!eating cache and fresh restarts. Everyone could probably get most that by just going into boot menu and clearing the cache of phone. Everyone says their phones run better after a OS update. We should start seeing the posts pop up of what is broken now and not working in a couple weeks or so.I was on the Beta on my Note 20 Ultra and have to say that I Loved the interface of One UI 4.0. The phone seemed more fluid, better ram management and esim capabilities. I hope that is all true of the Fold Z3!
I agree, I think this update is nothing to get all giddy about. I think people are getting programmed to think update means better and assumes it is better. I also want to know what is in this update that is so intriguing that I'm not seeing.Really nothing on here that interests me at all. Anyone excited about this, really? And if so, why?
You'll have to copy and paste for the change log, wouldn't let me drop the link

I would agree to this. Battery on the fold 3 is not the greatest. Fold 2 was better there.I am only interested in one thing. If battery is better then I update. Otherwise I will wait.
Nah it's actually more fluid, I keep my cache cleared regularly but I don't do fresh installs. That's about the only plus I've seen so far though. Haven't seen anything broken.... YET. Probably will be some things at some point like you said. Personally I never really have major issues with updates so I upgrade right away. He was asking about updates to features added from the OS 12 update. I agree with him, I don't see why everyone is so excited about this update either.
The battery would be a big reason to update. I imagine a lot of the people that had their phones brick after they update never had issues before either, but it happens. I hope you have no issues and I'll update when I see things are working good, but there's really nothing in the new update that makes me want it bad.Nah it's actually more fluid, I keep my cache cleared regularly but I don't do fresh installs. Battery life so far seems largely unchanged but it's only been one day.
Haha @ brick. Man that rarely happens anymore. And if it were to happen, it would be a one off situation and not happen to every single phone so it could still happen when you finally decide to upgrade. The battery would be a big reason to update. It happened with this update. Samsung pulled the update twice. When I say brick I mean unusable.Haha @ brick. Man that rarely happens anymore. And if it were to happen, it would be a one off situation and not happen to every single phone so it could still happen when you finally decide to upgrade.
I feel ya though. Honestly some of the changes Google made with Android 12 are head scratchers.

And yes they are head scratchers indeed. I haven't seen a reason to run for the update yet. Unfortunately I'll have to cave some day for the security updates.
Lol, I'll join you some day, a person can only avoid the update for so long. I wish that would change.Right. I knew what you meant. Doesn't usually happen in the US cause they test in small markets first. I saw that they had pulled it. Verizon has been notorious for slow updates though. That may be why I've never had a problem. I used to root and rom and all that and some screw ups every now and then were the closest I ever came to bricking a device.
Yeah, you aren't missing anything at all with this update from what I can tell. A touch extra fluidity is nothing.
No update yet. Unlocked running T-Mobile
Unlocked version Samsung targeting release by tomorrow, we see how true it is.
1 more day of DecemberAccording to Sammy, Fold/Flip are due in DecemberJust a matter of when...
