Android 14 beta 5 problems

Using the Volume down toggle to bring the volume all the way down to silent doesn't bring up the options for Vibrate and/or to mute Notifications and Calls anymore. Has anyone else noticed this?

I found a few times that if I had any issues, a reboot helped. I think of it as a lame suggestion that tech support would give you but it's somewhere to start.

Lots of folks on Reddit have posted about the failed Play System update currently. Seems like all we can do is wait on a fix from Google.

Does anyone know when Android 14 will officially be rolling out for the Pixel 6 line? I'd like to know so I can update my wife's 6a for her. I'm going to give her a factory reset afterwards to get her phone working smooth as butter again

Same time as the pixel 8 is what's going around. Oct 4 or 10th don't remember which off hand.

If we don't want to be enrolled in the Android 14 Beta QPR1 coming out on Sept 18th, we need to opt out of 14 Beta now, correct??

Correct, as I understand what Google posted to Reddit. Opt out before the 18th or get stuck on 14 QPR beta until December. So opt out this weekend before the 18th and when you see the update to install Android 13 and wipe your phone swipe it away and ignore it. Then wait for the notification to install public stable Android 14 whenever that arrives.
