Android 17 Beta

Alright I couldn't deal with not being able to use my phone anymore. I was missing too many important text messages and phone calls. Had to do a factory reset.

What I didn't know was I would still be on the beta. Well, it's all working now. Just have to re-sign into all my apps and stuff. For some reason there was no backup of my SMS messages, only MMS.

Lastly, most importantly, make sure you have a device you can get a passkey from. I had to dig out my old pixel 5 and get it charged so I could log back into the phone.

I would have done the same when too many things are crashing that's why I mentioned factory reset which I know everyone hates or wait for the next beta build.

Let us know how it goes.
Well because I'm on a newer build than beta it won't allow me from setting or side loaded because it thinks it's a downgrade, which means I will have to factory reset if I want it or if beta 2 comes out before the next stable build

I don't find most of these updates significant enough to go through the hassle. Its not like back in the day when I used to root my phones. Do people still do that?
